I am a mum and entrepreneur and one of my key goals is to build a trust relationship with my readers. If you are here, you probably want to understand what type of user data I collect and how I use it. I collect different data for the purposes outlined below:

Newsletter sign-up

I collect personal information (name and e-mail address) as part of the registration process for my newsletter. The purpose of collecting this data is to be able to contact you when new blog posts or resources are available on the blog or to let you know of specific products that you could be interested in.
I never rent, sell or share any personal information with anyone.

I use Mailchimp to deliver my newsletter and I may gather some statistics around e-mail opening/clicks to monitor and improve the newsletter. For more information, please visit MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe at any point by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the e-mail newsletter or e-mailing admin@marinagallego.com.

Google analytics

I use google analytics to collect anonymous data that helps me understand which pages/articles on the website are being visited more and hence allow me to understand what type of content is of more interest for my readers. All data collected for this purpose is collected in a way that no user can be identified with the data collected. Social media buttons

We use Pinterest Save widget at our website to allow you to pin images to Pinterest from our webpages. These requests may track your IP address in accordance with their data privacy policy: https://policy.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy

Cookies

Cookies are used in the website with three purposes:
1 – Enable registered users to access specific information that is not available to non-registered users.
2 – Improve your user experience, saving particular settings like changes in text size or other user preferences.
3 – Third party cookies are used when you choose one of the social media buttons (facebook, twitter, instagram, google+, pinterest and stumbleupon) to share content on this site. I can’t access or control these cookies as they are controlled by the third party, i.e. Facebook, twitter, etc so if you want further information on these, please check the cookie policy of the appropriate third party site.
